Packaging

We use an Ice Cube System used with Gel ice mats which have been designed & validated to keep your perishable products chilled below +5°C for 72 hours in the winter & 48 hours in the summer. The temperature controlled systems consists of a white double walled corrugated carton & a two part air infused reflective insert. They are fully validated over a realistic but very high standard laboratory controlled test & are a cost effective way of shipping your fresh or frozen food.

Prior to delivery and at your door

All deliveries are preferred to be contactless. If you are not available at the time of delivery the driver will attempt to leave your parcel in a safe place.

All drivers are required to knock or ring the bell on arrival. In the instance no one answers, the driver must leave the parcel on the doorstep or required safe place prescribed on the App, the driver is not allowed to return to the depot with the perishable food.

We would encourage all customers to download the DPD App to have up to date notifications on the delivery of their parcel. The customer gets a notification it is out for delivery, a 1 hour time slot, a 30 minute notification and a ‘Your Next’ notification. The customer should therefore be able to practically track the drivers every steps.
